In the London Assembly’s Police and Crime Committee, Caroline raised with the Commissioner and the Deputy Mayor the issue of child and online protections, and concerns about a much bigger rise in child safeguarding cases as lockdown is eased.
It was pleasing and encouraging to hear of the work that is being done in this area, but Caroline will continue to monitor this. The safety of children and all victims of domestic abuse and violence is vital. It is important that all children in London are safe and have access to support where it’s needed.
