Ensuring vulnerable people can be vaccinated

In the London Assembly Plenary session on Covid-19, Caroline asked about ensuring vulnerable groups including the homeless, vulnerable migrants and sex workers can get vaccinated without needing to register with a GP, which is not possible for some. Caroline welcomed the work being done to ensure the vaccine is available to these groups.

Caroline also asked about the important and concerning issue of vaccination hesitancy in London.

Caroline said:

The overriding message is the vaccines are safe. All of the vaccinations available for Covid-19 approved for use in the UK have met strict standards of safety, quality and effectiveness.

You can read more about the vaccines on the NHS website.
