At People’s Question Time on 11th February, there were several questions on the cladding and fire safety crisis gripping the country.
Caroline said:
It’s a total scandal that thousands in London and beyond live in unsafe homes and face bankruptcy because of failed regulation and it is something I will continue to campaign on until the Government takes comprehensive, meaningful action – not the half-baked measures we saw announced this week.
With Government continuing to fail leaseholders and residents caught up in the scandal, I have been pushing the Mayor of London on what more he can do to help, especially given the sheer number of individuals and families impacted in London.
