The Mayor could do much more on the cladding and fire safety scandal

In the London Assembly, Caroline asked why there are no provisions in the Mayor's budget to support the people affected by the classing and fire safety crisis.

Caroline said:

The government is failing on the cladding and fire safety crisis, yet in London the Mayor could be leading, four years after Grenfell.

I have continuously shared ideas with the Mayor on more that could be done from City Hall to support those affected but still no action.

If Government won’t act swiftly and comprehensively City Hall must do what it can.
