No more police stations or front counters must close

Caroline Pidgeon has written to the Deputy Mayor for Policing, asking her to publish the legal advice she receives on the sale of police buildings like Teddington and Notting Hill Police Stations, and to commit to no further police station or front counter closures in London.

Caroline said:

It is worth noting that 98 police station front counters were closed between 2012 and 2017 as a result of decisions made when Boris Johnson was Mayor. A further 35 have closed since November 2017 under Sadiq Khan, with only 38 remaining across London. No more must close.
