In October's Mayor's Question Time, Caroline questioned the Mayor of London on enforcement and awareness of the law around private e-scooter use on London’s public roads and pavements – which remains illegal. Caroline got the Mayor to agree to several actions.
Caroline spoke to ITV London's Simon Harris about the GLA Oversight Committee session questioning entrepreneurs about trade missions, including questions to Jennifer Arcuri on her close involvement with London and Partners.
Caroline was proud to speak in favour of a motion in the London Assembly on taking more action to prevent new HIV infections and to support those living with HIV.
Caroline said:
There’s much more we must do including tackling stigma and expanding access to PrEP, something I’ve long pushed for.
Questioning the Mayor, Caroline pushed again for urgent action to ensure the Holborn Gyratory is made safe for cyclists.
Caroline said:
We were promised action 3 years ago. Covid can’t be blamed for everything.
In addition to questioning some members of the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel, Caroline also questioned the Met Commissioner on the serious implications of the case.
There are still many more questions to be asked around the handling of this case, and on wider issues of corruption.
Caroline Pidgeon discussed the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel report with the Panel's chair, Baroness O'Loan, to understand the difficulties the Panel faced in securing the Metropolitan Police's cooperation, and getting access to the documents they needed.

I was particularly disturbed to hear the experiences of some disabled fans. I’m glad a review is taking place into what happened.
Lessons must be learnt.
In the London Assembly, Caroline Pidgeon seconded Cllr Hina Bokhari AM’s motion calling on the Mayor of London to take more action to support victims of the building safety crisis – including withholding funding from developers flouting responsibility for buildings they’ve already built.
At Mayor's Question Time, Caroline Pidgeon raised her concerns over the numerous recent reports of serious misconduct in the Met Police. Caroline called for a review of recruitment practices, as well as clear rules requiring the declaration of membership of organisations, including the Freemasons.
In the London Assembly, Caroline Pidgeon asked the Deputy Commissioner of the Met why there has still not been a clear apology for the corruption involved in the Daniel Morgan case.
Caroline said:
I still believe we need to see a more reflective attitude from the Met and a willingness to learn the lessons from this damning report.
